The Didier Aaron Gallery participates in London Art Week with the exhibition : European Master Drawings from the 17th to the 19th century, including an early Landscape (c.1615) by Guercino from the collection of Sir Peter Lely (1618 - 1680); a meticulously painted pair of Landscapes with biblical figures on vellum (1688) by Pierre-Antoine Patel ; and Poetry flanked by inspiration and Cupid (c.1895) by Luc Olivier Merson, a preparatory drawing for the frontispiece of José Maria Heredia's masterpiece Les Trophées.

We will also offer drawings by François Boucher, Hubert Robert, Pierre-Paul Prud'hon, as well as the work illustrated here : Thalia, the muse of comedy by Adolphe Yvon.
