Since 1923, the Didier Aaron Gallery has served its clients with its expertise as well as its taste.
During these decades of experience, the gallery has served clients such as the principal museums of France, as well as many international institutions : to name just a few, the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the National Gallery in London. We were entrusted to negotiate the sale of one of the most important old master paintings to come onto the market in recent decades : the acquisition of Titian’s Portrait of Alfonso d’Avalos for more than 50 million dollars to the J. Paul Getty Museum.
The search for quality has always determined our decisions when acquiring works for our inventory and our experts will be happy to show you a selection of important paintings, drawings and sculptures dating from the 17th to the 19th centuries, either in its galleries or during one of the important international events in which we participate: TEFAF Maastricht, TEFAF New York, Fine Art Paris, the Salon du Dessin in Paris, and Frieze Masters in London.
On our site, you will find a selection of works of art representative of the taste and high standards of the Didier Aaron Gallery. We invite you to discover them…
